Youth Trail Running Series set to begin in June

USATF Pacific Northwest in partnership with NW Trail Runs will offer a five race Youth Trail Running Series this year.  The series will include a Grand Prix like scoring system where athletes earn points at each race towards a series cumulative score.

The five races all take place on Tuesday evenings; being on June 8 with the Ravenna Run the Ravine in Seattle.  The final race (Summer Eddy in Kenmore) on August 3 will also serve as the USATF Pacific Northwest Youth Trail Team Championships.

The other three races in the series are:

Sunshine Salutation (Redmond) on June 22;
Carkeek Warmer (Seattle) on July 6; and
Seward Sizzler (Seattle) on July 20.

The total points from each runner's best four (4) performances determine their overall series standings. There will be two divisions (12U and 13-18).
