ELIGIBILITY

• Ages: Open to any Washington High School athlete.  All athletes must be 15 yrs. or older by December 31, 2021.  This event will not count as one of your 10 high school season meets. 
• Uniforms: High School issued uniforms are not allowed (per WIAA rules).
• USATF Membership: Athletes must be a USATF member and in order to enter and participate in this event.  Join/renew here.
• COVID Mitigation:  All participants, officials, volunteers and spectators are subject to COVID-19 pre-test and/or vaccine requirements, screening & safety attestation guidelines, requirements enacted by the CDC, USATF, USOPC, all governmental requirements and those by the meet organizers on the days of the competition. 
• Junior Olympic participation: Athlete members of the USATF Pacific Northwest Association, who have signed up for the  2021 Junior Olympics meet for the hammer throw on Athletics.net, as well as this online site for the Washington State High School Hammer Championships, your results in this championship will count for the USATF Pacific Northwest Association Junior Olympic Championships hammer competition and those earning medals will be awarded additional medals at the meet for the JO championship based on USATF age groups, 15-16 and 17-18.

Fees & Deadlines:
On-Time:  $25 (on or before June 6 at 11:59 P.M.)
Late:       On-Time entry fee + $10 (June 2 - June 6 at 11:59 P.M.)

Implement Inspections - 9:30-10 A.M.
First event - 11 A.M.

IMPLEMENTS

• Event hammers will be provided for those who do not provide their own equipment. 
• For those athletes furnishing their own equipment, there will be an implement inspection station where you must bring your hammer. 

evaluation on site open at 9:30, no later than 10:00. First event will start at 11:00am
