Beard's National Record Leads Pacific Northwesterns to 13 National Titles at Junior Olympic Championships in Georgia
Results
The
2025 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships
brought together 7,779 of the nation's top youth athletes from all 50 states to Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia, from July 21–27. USATF Pacific Northwest was well represented, with 159 athletes competing in 241 events and delivering a string of standout performances in hot conditions that caused several weather delays during the seven days of competition
National Titles and All-American Honors Abound
Pacific Northwest athletes delivered an impressive showing at the championships, earning 69 All-American honors and capturing 13 national titles. Athletes who placed in the top eight of their events received All-American status, a spot on the awards podium, championship medals, and the coveted red, white, and blue All-American hats.
Among the Pacific Northwest standout performances were the 13 national titles won by athletes across all of the divisions. Leading the way was
Kimberly Beard
, who delivered a record-breaking performance in the Girls 17-18 Hammer Throw, setting a new national record with a mark of 56.85m.
Narai Blanchard
was the only double gold medalist from Pacific Northwest, winning both the 100m and 200m in the Girls 8U division.

(400m Hurdles, Boys 15-16) and the
West Seattle Road Runners
(Girls 11-12 4x800m Relay). These athletes showcased exceptional talent and proudly brought home national titles to the Pacific Northwest.
In the Girls 11-12 1500m, won by Rodriguez-Villen, Pacific Northwest athletes claimed four of the eight All-American spots, led by
Savannah Brondstetter
(3rd),
Everly Haase
(4th), and
Beau Berry
(7th). They also placed two more in the top eleven with
Beau Sitzmann
finishing 10th and
Teagan Kemper
11th.
Multiple All-American Performers
15 athletes achieved All-American status in multiple events, underscoring their versatility and consistency:

(GLS Speed TC) – 3rd in 110m Hurdles, 3rd in 400m Hurdles
