Farrell Captures USATF Mountain Running Championship Title in Utah

The 2024 USATF Mountain Running Championships were held on Saturday (13-July) at Snowbird Ski Resort in Snowbird, UT. The event served as the Team USA selection race for the upcoming World Mountain & Trail Running Championships in Chiavenna, Italy on October 12.

The 8.7-mile course included 3610 feet of vertical gain. 

One (1) athlete from USATF Pacific Northwest was among the 74 competitors in the USATF championship races. Kerry Farrell, 63, of Auburn, WA finished 32nd overall and captured the masters 60-64 division title. His winning time was 2:00:54.
