RESULTS: Pacific Northwest Trail Running Championships

The USATF Pacific Northwest Trail Running Championships were held on August 14 as part of the Cougar Mountain 14.5 Mile Trail Race in Bellevue.

The open winners were Douglas Jordan, 27 of Seattle and Rebecca Windell, 23, of Winthrop.   Jordan crossed the line in 1:53:58 with Robert Brand, 32, of Seattle following in 1:55:11.   Windell's winning time was 2:01:09.  Finishing second was Caitlin Jacobson, 36, of Issaquah in 2:10:18.

The masters champions were: Trisha Steidl (W40-44), Uli Steidl (M45-49), Julie Fowler (W50-54), and Mark Dahlby (M55-59).

Over $2000 in championship prize money was awarded to the top open and masters finishers.
